When is it time to get a new roof?

Signs of when to get a roof starts before it begins to leak. When granules from composition shingles release they will accumulate in the gutter. Cross hatching in the shingle will be evident and some shingles will be missing. For all roofs take a look at the metal flashings if rust is present. We recommend copper flashings especially when houses are near the ocean.

Flat roofs and balconys?
